Easy Tailgate Fix

After fitting my bike rack my tailgate started to droop back down due to the extra weight.

You can re-gas your tailgate struts, but this can be very costly at around £150. So I'd seen an alternative with a simple gadget to stop the gas strut falling back down.

Low Cost

At less than £5 these little gas strut brakes are a very low cost solution.

The aluminium 'U' section can be purchased from most hardware stores (B&Q) and the sticky back felt.
